Our powerful team of street champions, residents and businesses who have committed to take responsibility for their rubbish, to keep their part of the street clean and report 100% of incidents has gone from strength to strength. Working with our local Thornton Heath Community Action team our goal this year is to have teams of street champions in at least 20 different streets. Want to get involved, please make contact.

While we have transformed a number of different “hot-spots” into “beauty spots” with fast and furious action days to improve problem areas and create natural barriers to fly-tipping this project took a little longer but was well worth it. Challenges that had to be overcome included changes to planning permission, raising of funds and ensuring the right solution in terms of planting a design. The result, we hope you agree, looks excellent and working with local residents and community organisations we hope to keep it that way.
